View Stuteville Antiques Inventory

Marshall and Deborah Stuteville have been involved in the antique business since 1973 and have been in business as Stuteville Antiques since 1978. Marshall is a graduate of the University of Washington in history. He began in the antique business by importing fine Indian and Tibetan art and artifacts after being in the Peace Corps in India.

In 1974, Marshall started training as an antique furniture restorer and conservator while working at Globe Antiques, one of the finest antique shops in Seattle at the time. With His wife, Deborah, he started Globe Restoration in 1978. Globe Restoration (a service of Stuteville Antiques) has been in continuous business since then providing museum quality restoration on fine antique furniture and wooden works of art.

Stuteville Antiques started simultaneously with Globe Restoration. In the course of the years, Marshall and Deborah have developed expertise in antiques and fine art appraisal. As an outgrowth of the restoration business, they have come to specialize in authentication of antique American, English and European furniture. Our shop features a wide selection of period antique English, American, and Continental European furniture, fine arts, silver, brassware, glass and accessories. Our items come both from extensive overseas buying and from local estates. Our emphasis is always on the authentic and the unique. All our items are guaranteed to be original and as described. We have managed to keep our overhead low and attempt to maintain the most reasonable prices for fine antiques in town. We welcome designers and dealers and offer discounts to those in the trade. We also have handled many estates either as estate sales, consignments or outright purchase.

Stuteville Antiques is dedicated to the concept of providing our customers with a wide variety of fascinating and genuine pieces from the past. In addition to our traditional antiques , we will be bringing in everything from fine paintings and antique fabrics to ethnographic items from every corner of the world.

Stuteville Antiques guarantees the authenticity of all of their pieces. We will provide a complete condition report for anything we sell. Service is a primary goal for both our antique shop and our restoration shop. Please let us know how we can help. We hope our shop is always a warm and welcoming place for customers to come to buy or just to browse.
