Westbridge Fine Art has been active in the Canadian and International art markets for almost 30 years as dealers, brokers and consultants. Recently the company expanded its long association with the auction industry by opening Canada’s first ‘boutique’ auction house in Vancouver, British Columbia. Operating out of its comfortable and inviting gallery location Westbridge Fine Art Auction House holds regular online fine art auctions and between two and four live auctions each year focusing on important Canadian and International works of art.
In addition to its fine art and auction activities, Westbridge is Canada’s foremost publisher of fine art investment publications. In 1980 the company published the first edition of the Canadian Art Sales Index, Canada’s leading auction price guide, an annual publication which today is into its 27th edition. Westbridge is also the publisher of The Collector’s Dictionary of Canadian Artists at Auction, and founder of the WPL Canadian Art Indices, a series of market indexes that are considered the bible of the Canadian art market.
Company president Anthony Westbridge, in addition to his fine art and auction activities, is also the author of Made in Canada, an Investor’s Guide to the Canadian Art Market, How to Make Money Selling Art at Auction, and the Westbridge Art Market Report, an online newsletter on the Canadian and international art markets
