Solidly and carefully constructed to withstand hard usage, this handsome dipper has fine pewter mounts at the juncture of the handle and around the rim. It is well-balanced, in excellent condition and could still be used today. Probably New England, around the end of the Eighteenth to the beginning of the Nineteenth Century.
