SOLD Classic domed keystone ruffle brooch by Henry Schreiner. The oval cabochon in the center is swirled amber art glass, and it is surrounded by a double ring of lime green rhinestones. The keystones are white glass. The dome stands about 1" high. All stones are prong set in goldtone metal. There is a hook bale at the back, and this can be worn as a pendant, as well as a brooch. The interior of the brooch shows the hook and eye construction typical of a Schreiner piece. There are no markings on the brooch. One of the matching earrings has the oval cartouche marked Schreiner New York, and they have the large donut hole openings on the clips. Excellent vintage condition.
