Signed SCHREINER Glass Olivine Topaz Domed Brooch & Clip Earrings

Unavailable

This magnificent 2-1/4" brooch and matching 1-1/4" matching clip earrings are listed on page 72 of "Collecting Costume Jewelry 303, the flip side, Exploring Costume from the Back, Jewelry, Identification and Value Guide" by Julia C. Carroll (2010). The set mentioned in the book is unmarked; this set is identical and has the Schreiner New York cartouche on the back of the brooch . It is described as follows: "The design includes the following list of Schreiner-like traits: a high dome, fancy prongs, reverse set smoke olivine, smoke topaz, and crystal rhinestones (point side up), ruffled or cupcake style cups, and the typical Schreiner "donut hole" style earring back. In addition, as is often true for Schreiner jewelry, this set features fabulous stones like the hand-worked flawed glass olivine cabochons shown here." This set has a japanned finish. All prongs are intact. There are no scratches or chips in the stones. I can find no flaws, and this set appears to be in excellent condition!
