Antique Victorian ladies button-up boots. The bottoms are black leather, and the uppers are made of a dark green gray military color cloth. There are 14 buttonholes, and each shoe is missing the top button. The top inner side of the right boot is stamped SCHAEFFER BROS. and MATEWAN, W.VA. These boots are well-worn but still in very good condition. There is some cracking to the leather and two areas on the left boot that have started to separate, and the toes on the soles have some wear also. They measure 10" from the bottom of the heel straight across to the tip of the toe, and 2-3/4" across the widest part of the foot. These boots are very well constructed and still wearable.
