Sarreguemines majolica is made in France. I found the mark on the back in Kovel's Book of Marks. It says the mark on the back was from 1770 through the 19th Century. I am not certain of the exact date of this plate. It is decorated with cherries and strawberries. It has one chip about 1/4 inch on the back but is not visible from the front.
