Sarreguemines majolica is made in France. I found the mark on the back in Kovel's Book of Marks. It says the mark on the back was from 1770 through the 19th Century. I am not certain of the exact date of this plate. It is decorated with cherries and strawberries. It has a number of chips two of which are visible when the saucer is placed flat on a table.
