Santa Clara Pueblo Pottery bowl Dakota Art signed Native American vintage black-ware

Black pottery from the Santa Clara Pueblo is among the most well-known in the entire world.It is hard to believe that this clay starts out as red and thru many processes it fired to become this rich black color. Out of every 5 pieces, only three survive fully. Do not use water to clean this as it will damage the pottery.. This vase is in very good condition with no cracks or fractures or chips. It is 2 1/4" tall and about 3 " across at the widest point.
