Figural salt & pepper shakers depicting a pair of Terrier dogs, each with a musical instrument. One has a drum, and one a squeeze box accordion. Circa 1930's-40's. Bright colored glazes. According to Gene Florence's books, these are made of bone china, or at least a higher grade of porcelain. Measure 2 1/8"h. Red "Japan" marks. Good condition with no damage.
