For the discerning collector of antique jewelry I offer this stunning brooch of the Mid-Victorian Period. The faceting of the stone indicates a master gem cutter. It is stamped Sterling and Germany. This is a large stone-1 3/8 inches long and 1 /16 inches wide, it weighs7.1 grams. This was given to me by my Grandmother but she told me it was my Great Grandmother's Mother who was born in 1866.
