Aztec in design, this pendant/pin is a beautiful example of inlaid stones around the face (silver) and headdress of what appears to be copper and brass. It is marked Hecho en Mexico and 925 in a circle with a faint hallmark that I haven't made out yet; with Sterling and Taxco below it and the Eagle #3 stamp. There is something about the letterings of the words Sterling ( non-uniformity) and Taxco ( the A is so narrow it looks like an I and the X is stylized almost looks like curved swords) that make me think this could be by Pedro Castillo.
