Russian Silver and Enamel Open Salt with a glass insert and a silver spoon. The salt is marked "iommet" on the bottom. The origin is Soviet Era Russian Circa 1940-1950. This piece features a silver holder that stands on three short legs. The sides are decorated with a green and ruby enamels against a silver background. It also has a fitted glass liner. It measures 1 1/4" in height and the diameter is 2 1/4" in width. This is a nice salt and in very good condition. Featured in Heacocks 5000 OPEN SALTS on page 101,item 2026.
