Art Deco polished pewter Box, Amsterdam, C.1920, Theodorus Hooft for Gero. Illustrated `Industrie en vormgeving’, pp 227. The box of rectangular shape on four bracket feet, striking art deco paneled design, the hinged double cover with concentric tubular handles. Marked on interior TH and Gero. Measures: 9.25 x6 x 3.25 inches. Later velvet interior.
