1800's antique postcard Man woman and Baby Family portrait. You almost never see a woman smiling in old photos and this lady sure seems to be holding one back. He looks to be a railroad man ( see clothes). Not a well to do family but a happy one. He has rolled up pants that are a bit too long for him. Someone's long lost relatives perhaps?
