This is a Royal Doulton, England art pottery pitcher or jug in Doulton Ware Un Gilt Circle Ware with applied flowers and a hammered copper lid made 1902-1920s by Marion Holbrook. The pretty stoneware pitcher measures 8.5 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and has the pressed whorls design of Circle Ware that in this case has not been gilt. Instead, there are lovely applied blue flowers and green leaves. The pitcher has a hammered copper pin and slot pivoting lid. The base has the Royal Doulton 1902 mark and the artist's initials MH for Marion Holbrook, The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and is a wonderful piece of workmanship.
