Beautiful Royal Doulton plate with Charles Dana Gibson design. One of a series that portrayed the Gibson Girl through various parts of her life until she finally ends as a nun. The plate is semi-porcealin, printed in underglaze black, with a petalled border of blue. It is in verygood condition with no cracks or chips and a strong pattern. There are a few surface scratches but they only show held into the light and do not detract from the beauty of this truly anitque plate.
