Royal Doulton mark on one foot and Hn 1035 & JS on another foot. In 1913 Royal Doultan began making each new figure design with an HN number. Harry Nixon was the artist in charge of painting the figures. The HN numbers refer to him. HN numbers were chronological until 1949 after which blocks of numbers were assigned to each modeler. The Royal Doulton Mark is the one first used in 1930. Former owner marked the bottom with a piece of tape and the date 1943 & a name I cant quite make out. I would guess it was gift & the name was the name of the giver. 4 ½ long, 3 ¼ tall. In excellent condition. Lots of detail in the face and over all. Please furnish zip code for shipping quote.
