Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurine depicting two geese on an oval base. One of the geese is stretching to release himself from a cord tied to a stake on the ground. It is signed on the side of the base with artist's monogram "N" and marked on the underside with the Royal Copenhagen Denmark crown and wavy blue lines as well as the numbers 1400 / 609. Based on the date mark (bar above letter G in Copenhagen) it was made in 1947 after an Ingeborg Nielsen design. In excellent condition as shown. Measurements: 7.7" long by 2.8" wide by 5.9" tall (19.5 cm long by 7 cm wide by 15 cm tall) approximately.
