Enormous Royal Cauldon platter for your Thanksgiving and Christmas turkey.

Blue transferware server features a wild turkey stalking through tall grass with hen turkeys in the background. Scalloped lip with gold edge and swirling acanthus leaves. Some grouse (or other game bird in flight) vignetted in middle of each side.

MARKED Royal Cauldon/ England/ Est 1774 in blue with gold number 1153, as shown in photo.

Circa 1930-1950s

MEASURES 19-1/2 x 16-1/4 inches.

Very good condition. No chips, cracks, dings or repairs found aside from some gold wear.
