Check out this incredible banquet sized solid walnut Victorian round dining table. The 54” diameter top will expand to over 16’ long! The table presently has 5 original leaves, each measuring 14” wide. When all the current leaves are in place, the table measures 124” long, which is 10’ long. To take advantage of its full length, we can arrange to have additional leaves made. Another option is to use plywood, cover with a table cloth and no one would be the wiser! The table has a moulded top and a prominently carved skirt. The table runners open and close smoothly. Due to the table’s immense expansion, it requires a center support when fully utilized. Notice how the original center legs are integrated into the design of the pedestal – very cool! The main pedestal is comprised of 2 large sections which pull apart when leaves are added. The separation of the central pedestal and the 3 center legs provide the necessary support and stability when the table is expanded. Due to this design, the table is rock solid. The boldly carved pedestal displays a scrolling leaf pattern on the sides of each leg and intricately carved rosettes on the feet. The table rests on its original casters. The table finish is in excellent condition having a warm, deep, rich color. This is the table for those huge family feasts during the holidays.
