For Sale I have a Lovely Vase made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is "Rosecraft-Panel" and it is done in Roseville's Matte Brown Background Glaze with a Burnt Orange or Rust Colored Accented Glaze. The vase depicts a Cluster of Tomatoes growing off of a Vine nestled in a bed of Leaves and what looks like Flower Buds in the upper left hand corner of the Panels. There are 4 Panels depicting the same theme. This Vase gives the feeling of an Autumn Harvest. This Vase reminds me of Roseville's Baneda Line as the Pumpkins in Baneda are extremely close in design to this Rosecraft Panel Vase. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no issues to report. The Piece is signed on the bottom with Roseville's Early Rv Blue Inkstamp Cipher as well as the Mold number 290 written in Red Grease Pencil. The was known as Shape Number 290-7 in the Roseville Catalog for Rosecraft Panel. This is a lovely Vase and not all that commonly found and I would consider it somewhat Rare. You Roseville Collectors of this line will surely welcome this addition into your collection.
