For Sale I have a Lovely Vase made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is "Snowberry" and it is a very HTF size and Glaze with virtually no damage. You seem to come across more of the Blue than the Rose Color. The Vase depicts very pleasing clusters of White Berries with a handful of detained green leaves on brown winding branches flowing from the top to the bottom. This is set against a background Glaze that bleeds from a soft Rose at the top to an even deeper Rose Tone at the bottom. The base of the vase is supported by a round foot that is 5 3/8" in diameter. There are two buttress styled handles on each side of the raised pedestal Foot thus giving it a touch of the Arts and Crafts Style. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as the only issue is some crazing in the background glaze and a factory nick on the bottom edge that has been glazed oved. This was made this way from the Factory. The Vase is signed with the Roseville U.S.A. Raised Relief Cipher Mark along with the mold number 1V1-9 also in raised relief. There is also the letter T. / 8 written in Black grease pencil and more than likely are the individual Artist initial and number 8 for the finishers mark. This is truly a lovely Vase in a Very Hard to find Size and Form with no damage.
