Rose China Duet Cup
Rose China Duet #3306 Cup measuring 2 5/8". The Duet #3306 pattern has pink roses with gray leaves and stems. The coupe shaped cup has platinum trim. The period of post-war Japan 1946-1947. During this recovery period Noritake produced china for American Servicemen. This became an important part of their economic recovery. Wares during this period were marked "Rose China". This backstamp was used in the post 1946 era. In 1953 the backstamp including the "N" in a wreath was adopted. This replaced the long used "M" in a wreath.
