This is quite an interesting tool. The information on the paper label on the inside of each wheel, reads: "L.M.Rose", "The Rose Automatic Knife Grinder No. 7". There are three years mentioned in the patent numbers: 1900, 1903 and 1904. Overall length of this grinder tool is approximately 5". There is some 'oxidation' on the metal portions. This unique OLD tool would be a very nice display piece!
