For Sale I have a Lovely Arts and Crafts Form Vase made by The Rookwood Pottery Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. The Vase in Molded in a Very Nice Arts and Crafts Forms and has two wonderfully applied Buttress Handles at the top of the Vessel. The Vase displays a very soft Mauve background Glaze with a very light green overspray at the top. The Piece is signed on the bottom with Rookwood's Reverse RP and Sunburst Logo along with he Roman Numerals XXVII for the year of manufacture, 1928. It also has the mold number 2562 impressed into the bottom. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips, or repairs. Those of you who collects Architectural Arts and Crafts Vases will surely welcome this addition. This form reminds me of some of shapes that Teco Pottery produced.
