One additional photo available.Old plaster oval Roman plaque early 1900's highly detailed and three dimensional as the figures are many deep in the concave plaque and extending out 2 1/2 inches. A progression of people and families,some holding infants or children by the hand appearing to be exiting the town with homes shown on the back wall. Large wagon loads of townspeople in the background traveling the same route. A man carried carriage in the procession as that of a king. Roman soldiers in attire of Julius Caesar era on horseback on the outskirts along the road. Several flags and country symbols also being carried by soldiers. To be displayed on an easel,deep plate or bowl rack for wall attachment or standing as no hanger on the back. Wonderful aged coloring to the plaster which is in excellent condition with exception to a very tiny missing speck in the background. Measures 14.5L X 10.5H X 2.5D. Interior or exterior.
