Rockwell/Grossman Figurine "Redhead"

Unavailable
The name of Norman Rockwell, America's most beloved artist, has always been inseparable from that of the Saturday Evening Post. He painted over 300 Post covers. Those who appreciate the Rockwell touch treasure these fine hand painted porcelain figures of Americana, produced by Dave Grossman Designs. This figurine is called "Redhead," and its intent is obvious. The boy has red hair and a doubled-up fist, dragging his school books behind him, and ready to settle the score. The detail work is exquisite. This painting was featured on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post of September 16, 1916. The figurine was produced by Grossman in 1979, and was part of the "Cover Collection." The figurine is in excellent condition in its original box.
