Roble Shoes Over There And Over Here Ad 1943 This is a 1943 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from United Mens Division, Brown Shoe Company Manufacturers, St. Louis. Ad shows a pair of Army boots, soldier in background. Also shows pair of mens oxfords. Says Whether it is for a fighter over there or a civilian over here, there are certain qualities in common for shoes these days. They have to be as easy on the feet as a furlough, they have to be as tough as a Top Kick against scuffs and they ought to wear like an elephants hide. In mint condition.
