This is a set of twelve English George iii sterling silver plates, made in London by silversmith Robert Sharp in 1801. The plates are decorated with a gadroon border and each have an English bright cut coat of arms engraved on their surface. These plates have some knife scratches on their surface as you would expect, the wear is not extensive. The plates are 10” in diameter and weigh a total of approx. 228 troy ounces.
