This is the 1602 line, 6 ounce, low sundae in the Cape Cod pattern made by the Imperial Glass Company. While the pattern itself was made from 1932 through 1984, production of most of the colored pieces was made in the 1960's and 1970's. It is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs and it has good cobalt blue color and pattern detail of the Cape Cod. There is a very small chip on the underside edge of the foot that is barely visible when displayed (see photos) and wear on the underside of the foot that is consistent with its age. Imperial named their cobalt blue color Ritz Blue. This Imperial sundae is 3 1/4" high, 3 3/4" in diameter at the top and 2 1/4" square at the foot.
