This is the #7 sugar and lid in the Azalea pattern made by Noritake exclusively for the Larkin Company. Azalea was then sold as premiums to the Larkin club members and their home agents. The sugar was advertised in their catalogs from 1923 through 1933 and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and the paint of the Azalea design is very good. There is some very minor gold trim wear. This sugar with lid has the red Noritake M within a wreath mark on the bottom used by the Morimura Bros., Distributors from 1911 through 1941 (see photos) and is 3 3/4" high, 3 5/8" in diameter and 5 3/4" across the handles.
