From a lovely, old home in northern Iowa, our picker brought us this outstanding American Oak 2-Door Bookcase. A very high quality furniture piece, this bookcase is framed, on either side of the doors, by carved Northwind heads. Decorative applied trim on these side posts along with the thick, heavy crown creates the look for this very important piece of furniture. The eye of the admirer is immediately drawn to the beauty of the tight grain of quarter-sawn oak. Four oak framed shelves provide ample space to store & display books and other treasures. And, these pieces are further enhanced by the beauty of the old wavy glass in the doors. 65" tall X 47" wide X 13.5" deep, this piece has been professionally restored & refinished.
