A Fabulous pin by the famous designer Reveriano Castillo. Reveriano apprenticed to William Spratling in 1934, then with Hector Aguilar in 1939. He and his wife opened their own shop in 1952 called Reveri. The design is Pre-Columbian but the predominance of the heart makes it a wonderful Valentine Gift as well. It is marked "STERLING, TAXCO, MEXICO, REVERI, 60 and the eagle stamp of 40. It's 1 1/4" tall and 1 3/4" wide and weighs 10.4 grams.
