This magnificent sterling silver and giant blue rhinestone retro modern brooch is marked Sterling By Jordan. This is the RM Jordan & Co. from Providence RI and has been used since 1942. They are no longer in business and their pieces are highly sought after. I did some research and found many of their flower and butterfly brooches but there are few on the vintage market with their bow and ribbon design and NONE like this one so I surmise it is one of their earlier pieces. It is a large brooch, 2 3/4" tall and 2" at the widest and weighs 20.9g.
