Beautiful, large reticulated German porcelain centerpieces consisting of a bowl and a matching, round reticulated under plate decorated with hand- painted flowers and gilt on a white ground. Both pieces are marked on the underside with a blue shield, the mark of the Von Schierholz Porcelain Factory of Plaue, Thuringia, Germany. According to our references a mark such as this one, without words, was used beginning in c.1907. In very good used condition with wear to gilt and minor imperfections as shown. Measurements: Under Plate: 12.25" diameter; Bowl: 9.75" diameter approximately. Item ID: 1778
