Restaurant Ware Plates

Unavailable
The back of these 5 1/2" plates are backstamped "Mayer China, Beaver Falls, PA by Interpace, USA". Interpace was a Gladding, McBean and Company division and was sold to Josiah Wedgwood and Son, Ltd. in 1989. Since they are marked "Interpace" they most probably date back to the time before Wedgwood. The pattern is a dense, pink transfer border. The porcelain is somewhat thick, but not heavy like hotelware. These may have been high-end restaurant ware, or there may have a whole place settings for home use. In either case, these plates could be used for entertaining, or could be used with a pattern that is similar. There are 18 plates, all in excellent condition. You can buy 1 or all 18 or any number inbetween. Excellent condition.
