Lovely Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian table with an inset marble top. The original marble has superb and unusual color with yellows, pinks, browns, and reds. The top surround is shaped with a dynamic contour. The entire base is handsomely decorated with fluting, incised carvings, bold turnings and two buttons on the bottom stretcher. A large carved finial is in the center of the bottom stretcher. Gilding was used to enhance the beauty of this table and most of it is in superb original condition. A gorgeous center table from the period! Circa: 1870 Dimensions: 29″H x 38″L x 23″D, Condition: Very fine original finish and gilt with great old patina. The marble naturally has a number of veins running through it. These are not cracks and dont go through to the underside. Price: $2550.00. More photos on request
