This exotic nouveau mermaid guards this deep locket ( you could probably put pills in it too) with all her glory and strength. Added to that 2 crosses and 2 miraculous medals and you can pretty much count on being safe wherever you go as well as being the most beautiful woman in the room. The locket and the chain are gold filled and well made with nice weight to them. The long ( 30") chain comes to a point near the locket where it resembles a slide with a pearl in the center. The locket is 1 1\/4" x 1" and has a hinged lock so it will not accidentally unlock. Inside is the miniature sheet music that reads Forget me not. ON the other is a photo of a very dressed up woman from the nouveau period that looks like she is a mighty warrior with a sceptor or staff of some kind in her hand.  The mermaid is very ornate on the front with what almost looks like a feathered tail.    VintageSparkles offers Layaway on all our Etsy pieces regardless of which site it comes from.
