This beautiful couple are the base for a pair of porcelain lamps marked Germany and numbered 14698 and 14699. The family dog is at the feet of the gentleman and their feet are propped on fringed footstools. We have called these George and Martha Washington lamps and offer them as a pair to adorn your mantle, dressing table, or side tables in your bedroom. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They are hand painted in soft shades of lavendar and blue and accented with gold gilt. Add a light bulb and a pretty shade and you are ready to go!
