RED WING CANDLEHOLDERS SET

Red Wing Stoneware Company was founded in 1878 by German immigrants in Redwing, Minnesota. Early production was hand made & concentrated in utilitarian items finished in salt glaze. As popularity and demand
increased, Red Wing advanced to an assembly line format and Bristol glaze wares. In the early 1900's they had the largest pottery company in the United States.

Red Wing’s pottery industry including hand-decorated salt glazed
stoneware of the highest quality to be found anywhere, molded zinc
stoneware, advertising ware, art pottery and dinnerware. Art Pottery
Unique designs and artists like Belle Kogan, Eva Zeisel and Charles
Murphy set Red Wing apart.

This lovely set of Red Wing Art Deco Candlesticks has sleek lines
on a beautiful black matt background with white speckled art work
throughout. Black or white tapered candles will complete this pair
and make a lovely table display and create ambiance in any room.
The bottom is incised with what appears to be “Red Wing USA 23 N.
