c1860-1870 Spectacular Gild Bronze Double Oval Easel Frame suitable for photos or miniature works of art. You will not find a finer frame anywhere! My photos don't do it justice. The ovals are bordered with exquisite bands of red enamel. The light bounces off the golden surface no matter where the frame is placed. An example of craftsmanship at the highest level. The fern leaves & scrolls are profusely engraved. Note the delicately cut out leaf stems, not one of which is cracked. The condition is virtually mint, only the glass has been replaced. The overall size is 10" x 8" (25.5 x 20.3 cm) with the openings measuring 3.5" x 2.5" (7.6 x 6.4 cm).....Canadians will pay applicable taxes
