A rarity, an early 20th century Art Nouveau, Aesthetic Movement Tiffany & Co 6 piece silver plate tea and coffee service. The melon form set with lovely fluted body consists of; tea pot, coffee pot, chocolate pot, creamer, covered sugar and warming bowl for tea pot, also used as a slop bowl. Hallmark suggests the set was made between 1902 and 1907.
Hallmarks on bottom: "Tiffany & Co . Makers" "180" all say 180 assume pattern #) "1939", "1916" "7386" "1939" "3207" "1939". All pieces read Silver Solderer E.F. Double" "M" for President Moore years 1907-47, some piece volume size- "2-1/2 pint, 10 cups"; 1-3/4 pints 7 cups; 5-1/2 gill (sugar) and "gills" (creamer), large teapot; 4 pint and letter "C" for President Cook (until 1907)
CONDITION: Beautiful patina, no monograms, minor surface scuffing, handle on smaller teapot and upright pot slightly loose.
SIZE: The largest pot is approx. 8" dia. body not including spout, upright pot approx. 8-1/4' tall.
