Arthur Burdett Frost (January 17, 1851 - June 22, 1928) American illustrator, graphic artist and comic writer. Frost is considered one of the greatest illustrators in the "Golden Age of American Illustration". Frost illustrated over 90 books and produced hundreds of paintings; in addition to his work in illustrations, he is renowned for realistic hunting and shooting prints. D.M. Ferry was one of the first companies to package seeds and sell them in stores guaranteeing fresh seeds, right for the vicinity, every year. The packages included assortments of vegetable and flower seeds. The company experimented with seeds to improve existing ones and also to introduce new varieties.
