Rare Museum quality 18th century Polish Sword Saber
An 18th century (circa 1750) Polish sword with a typical Polish Hussar steel hilt, leather covered bound with steel wire wrapping. The slightly curved single-edged blade is engraved with a floral design and has two fullers. The entire length of the sword is 32 inches in a straight line (81.3 cm). Width near the guard is almost 1 ½ inches (3, 7 cm). The wooden grip has some cracks, 60% of the leather bound is missing, the blade is slightly pitted. This 18th Polish sword is in original condition; there are no repairs or replacements.
