A rare EAPG water pitcher in the Cleat or Cleats pattern, c. 1850's. This is a very unusual and striking pitcher with large, heavy protruding prisms. Measures approximately 9 1/2" tall and is quite heavy weighing about 4 pounds 10 ounces. This pitcher is in nice condition for its age but we did find a crack on the bottom part of the applied handle where it meets the body of the pitcher so it cannot be picked up by the handle alone or the handle could break off due to the weight of the pitcher. One of the cleats on the bottom row has a small chip on the top of the cleat and a few others have some minor roughness. A wonderful Early American Pattern Glass piece, a rare and hard to find beauty! 4 pounds 11 ounces
