RARE DALLAS MARCH 1906 MEMBER TEXAS CATTLE RAISERS ASSOCIATION CONVENTION BADGE.

Rare March 1906 Member Texas Cattle Raisers Association convention badge..   2 5/8" long and 2 3/4" wide. From the early days of cattle ranching in Texas.    On the medallion part it reads " Dallas Texas Cattle Rangers Association  March 1906.   In the middle is a bull.     Above the bull's head it says " Reality 1906".   On the pin part that is shaped like bull horns it says" Relic 1876"  It appears to be bronze and made by the Batison Bros , Rochester NY  The condition is good but the tip of one of the horns is bent.   I am too fearful it snapping off if I try to bend it back.

This is an extremely rare find.     Year ago I purchased a box of badges, ribbons and pin from an estate sale.  Then just put the whole lot on a shelf in storage then  forgot about them until just recently I began to go through all my boxes of forgotten treasures.  So glad I did so as it is thrilling to paw through all of these wonderful, beautiful and significant bits of American History.
