This is a rare Chinese Bronze PROSPERITY PIG & PIGLETS. This well-made MOTHER PIG AND BABIES IN MONEY are modeled and cast in deep relief and have a nice patina with a dark brown finish. A large mother pig is feeding 12 piglets in various postures. They are all on a big pile of money- Chinese gold coins and golden eggs- representing wealth and happiness! The underside of the base is unmarked; it has a pierced hole. This Bronze Pig Figurine measures (IN INCHES): 3.9 Tall X 7.7 Wide X 5.0 Deep. Weight: 5 Lbs. 2 Oz.
