This is a very RARE Covered Jar. It is the Blue Satin Boar Tobacco Jar. There is a Boar sitting on the lid as the finial and the base has ribs around it. This piece is from the turn of the century. It's 9" tall x 6" across and is in great condition for it's age and use. There are a couple small nicks on the rim of the base and the tip of one of the Boar's ears is nicked. This is very common on this Jar since the lid was taken on & off for so many years. This Boar Jar is not an easy item to find so don't miss out on this one. Shipping quoted includes insurance.
