Rare 1904 28th Annual Convention C.R.A. of T. Ft. Worth Member, Packing House Center of the South  3 tiered Badge.   The initials stands for Cattle Raisers Association of Texas.   The badge is of celluloid in metal frames.  It was made by The Whitehead and Hoag Company New York with a patent number and dated March 7 1893.    The whole ensamble is 3.5 inches.    The metal is dark silver on the front but more like copper on the back.  The celluloid inserts are in very good condition but more discolored on the edges that meet the metal .   The round pendant at the bottom is in excellent shape.  The building and saying is shown on the back as well as the fron just in a different arrangement.

This is an extremely rare find.     Year ago I purchased a box of badges, ribbons and pin from an estate sale.  Then just put the whole lot on a shelf in storage then  forgot about them until just recently I began to go through all my boxes of forgotten treasures.  So glad I did so as it is thrilling to paw through all of these wonderful, beautiful and significant bits of American History.
